to be sent directly to Chargeurs Wool USA Inc.

The Wool is expected to sell for around $0.50 per pound

again provided that it is clean, dry and free of burs, and tags

The Farm Service Agency will have a representative present this year at the wool pool

to sign producers up for the USDA Wool Subsidy which is expected to be around

$0.40 per pound

The Tazewell Wool Clip will be taken up at the Farm Bureau Store at Four-Way in Tazewell

Monday, August 15, 2022 beginning at 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 noon.

The Wool will be weighed and baled in Grayson County at the Bottomly’s Warehouse

before being shipped to the buyer Chargeurs.

The Tazewell Wool Pool has a long tradition of selling high-quality wool.

Please do your part to maintain that reputation by keeping your wool clean and dry.

Avoid contamination with straw and dirt by keeping the shearing area clean.

It needs to be free of as much debris as possible, NO HAIR SHEEP OR HAIR CROSS,

Black face and White face baled separately at the same price.
